Stop context-switching between terminal tabs and fragile cloud tools.
// Performance > Convenience
Unified Workspace
Proxync replaces ngrok, Postman, Wireshark, and half your terminal tabs with a single, high-performance engine.
Local-First & Configurable
Your API keys, secrets, and traffic data stay on your machine. Choose Enhanced or Basic Low-CPU local telemetry.
Deep Visibility
Live intercepting TCP proxy that captures every byte. Search, filter, and replay requests instantly.
Auto-OpenAPI Gen
Don't write docs. Proxync observes your local traffic and automatically builds live, interactive OpenAPI specifications as you develop.
Rust-Powered Speed
Built with Tauri v2. Consumes 90% less RAM than traditional Electron-based API clients.
A suite of tools that feel native because they are.
Tunnels, traffic, requests, and docs — engineered as one continuous workflow.
Active Internet Connectivity Guard with edge pings
One-click Cloudflare & Localtunnel public HTTPS URLs
Target Route Badges (Edge, Public Tunnel, Loopback)
Up and running in under a minute.
No cloud account. No config wizard. No ceremony.
Install the engine
A 12MB native binary. Download once, run everywhere. No sign-up, no telemetry, no cloud.
Point it at localhost
Proxync auto-detects running Vite, Node, or Django instances. One click starts the proxy.
Watch the stream
Live traffic flows into an inspector you can search, filter, replay, and export to OpenAPI.
Built for the way teams actually ship.
From indie devs to platform teams — Proxync fits into existing workflows.
I replaced ngrok, Postman, and Wireshark in a single afternoon. My laptop fan finally stopped screaming.
The auto-generated OpenAPI spec alone is worth the download. Docs now write themselves while I code.
Finally, a tunneling tool that doesn't ship my traffic to a third-party server. Security team approved it day one.
We replay production traffic against staging every release now. It caught three regressions last sprint.
Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about running Proxync locally.
Yes. Workspaces, saved request collections, traffic history, and custom settings are serialized locally in a JSON store (%APPDATA%\Proxync\data.json). There is no cloud sign-up or forced cloud account required.
Telemetry is processed 100% on-device. You can choose Enhanced Telemetry (live P50/P90/P99 latency calculations and bandwidth meters for the Observability Hub) or Basic Telemetry (low CPU mode that bypasses percentile sorting to save system resources).
Before launching Cloudflare or Localtunnel edge tunnels, Proxync performs real edge pings (checkRealInternetConnection) to verify internet connectivity, preventing CLI timeout hangs when working offline.
Yes! The v0.2.0 Automatic Multi-Framework Codebase Scanner supports Express, Fastify, Next.js, NestJS, FastAPI, Spring Boot, and Go codebases to infer OpenAPI 3.0 specs and export 2-way Playground collections.
A native Windows x64 installer (Proxync_0.2.0_x64-setup.exe) ships today via Tauri v2 with built-in Smart Version-Aware Auto-Updates. macOS and Linux support is currently in development.
Playground request builders feature visual Target Route Badges (Cloudflare Edge, Public Tunnel, or Local Loopback) next to the Send button so you immediately know where your traffic is traveling.
